Welcome to the New GuitarCurriculum - Live Zoom Chat - 3/5/25

We’ve been so encouraged with your feedback on the new GuitarCurriculum! The new and updated look, better organized music library, and student portal have been making waves with our community, and we’re so pleased to hear it. If you’ve got any feedback, good or otherwise, please feel free to reach out to us at any time. Our hope is that the new resources at GuitarCurriculum better support you and your students each day in the classroom. Please reach out if we can do anything to help.

Join us on Wednesday, March 5th for a live Zoom session with our Director of Curriculum Phil Swasey! He’ll be walking us through the new site. To sign up for the Zoom session, click here!

We'll spend time covering all of the new features of the site in the zoom session, but let's start by highlighting the music library and our search features that are designed to make your experience more seamless and enjoyable. One of the biggest improvements is the ability to search across categories by level. This feature eliminates the need to navigate through a clunky list of links, streamlining your search process. Whether you're looking for beginner pieces or advanced repertoire, you can now easily find the perfect fit.The various level search function is particularly useful for directors managing classrooms with students at different experience levels. By selecting “Various Level” from the drop-down menu, you can find adaptable content suitable for diverse guitar groups. We’ve also added more video content linked to specific pieces, providing valuable instructional support for ensemble and solo repertoire. These videos approach students and teachers where they’re at and enhance their understanding of each piece, making it easier and more accessible to choose the right piece for your students.

Our social media team visited Rey Rodriguez, our Education Associate, at the Turner Roberts After-School program. Watch him talk about his experience with ACG here!
